View Marine Fish Compatibility Chart Also known as the yellow prawn or yellow shrimp goby. Although this territorial fish may be aggressive towards its own kind (unless a mater pair), it is rarely aggressive towards other fish. The watchman goby can be prone to jumping especially if startled and there for it is recommended to secure your aquarium with a lid or other enclosure. This fish has a symbiotic relation ship with the Pistol Shrimp. As with all marine fish, they benefit from a varied diet of vitamin enriched foods. The Yellow Watchman Goby's diet should consist of a variety of meaty foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp or other frozen preparations. Over time Yellow Watchman Gobies may be acclimated to high-quality flake foods. Your goby may appear yellow to light gray depending on the sex. Gobies will also benefit greatly from live phytoplankton which is readily available to them in the wild. |
