View Marine Fish Compatibility Chart Acanthurus olivaceus The Orange Shoulder Tang is also known as the Orangespot Surgeonfish or Orange Shoulder Surgeonfish. As a juvenile, it's coloration is solid yellow with a small line of blue on it's fins. As it ages, the front half turns light blue/gray and the back half turns dark blue/grey.
Use caution when housing with other Tangs or Surgeonfish. Similar shaped Tangs can be very aggressive towards each other. Although Tangs will eat meaty foods along with the other fish in the aquarium, it is important that they are offered plenty of marine based seaweed and algae. |
