View Marine Fish Compatibility Chart The Red Coris Wrasse is also known as the Clown Wrasse, Red Labrid, or Yellowtail Coris. The coloration is a golden orange adorned with yellows, reds, and blues. The face has green stripes. The Red Coris Wrasse is peaceful towards other fish in the aquarium. It enjoys lots of rockwork to swim around in. Sand is required in the aquarium because that is where they sleep and will hide in when they are stressed or frightened. The Red Coris Wrasse is best known for its ability to eat pests such as fireworms, flatworms, and pyramidillid snails. The diet should include vitamin enriched frozen mysis shrimp, vitamin enriched frozen brine shrimp, and other meaty foods along with marine flakes and pellet food. This wrasse also requires a tank with approximately 3-4 inches of sand to hide and sleep in. |
