One of the most popular snails in the hobby! The Mexican Turbo Snail, also known as the Indo Turbo Snail, is a species of sea snail popular in the saltwater aquarium hobby due to it's appetite for nuisance algaes. Tropical Turbo Snails are great clean up crew for green hair algae and will stay most of the time on the rockwork searching for food. Invertebrates can be more sensitive to parameter changes than fish or coral. High nitrate levels or sudden changes in pH or Salinity can be very harmful to inverts and may cause death. It is recommended to do a slow acclimation process when adding new inverts to your aquarium. |
