Our patent pending revolutionary design makes coral fragging a breeze! Simply glue a new coral on to a coral mount of 1" or 2" size and twist-lock it on to one of our lock plugs. Once the coral grows to the edges of the mount, you can use a 2.5" or 3.5" coral expander or a 4" many expander by untwisting the coral mount from the lock plug and twist locking the coral expander on to the lock plug. Finally, twist lock the coral mount to the coral expander and you have expanded the surface area without any need for glue or scissors! Less Gluing, Less Chemicals and Less Cutting saves you time and money, and you can even save and reuse some of your lock plugs.
The 4" Many-Expander Coral Garden is great for growing out soft corals like Zoanthids which will grow onto the coral mounts and allow you to detach them and replace with a blank/empty mount and allow it to re-grow. This makes it possible to create new frags with absolutely zero cutting, gluing, or chemicals which ultimately saves you time and money. They are also great for mixing-and-matching different Zoas or other coral species and making a large man-made Coral Garden of various species.
Our Plugs, Mounts and Expanders are made with Reef Safe PETG Plastic, 100% Designed and Manufactured in the USA, and are thin enough to be cut with household items like Scissors and Bone Cutters. That's right, no saw is needed at all! If a saw is used, we advise that you simply rinse the frags thoroughly before returning to the aquarium.
