Description:
The Bicolor Angelfish or Two-colored Angelfish, is a popular marine fish species among aquarium enthusiasts. It belongs to the family Pomacanthidae, which consists of various colorful and eye-catching angelfish species. The Bicolor Angelfish is recognized for its striking coloration and unique appearance. This angelfish species is found in the Indo-Pacific region, including areas such as the Great Barrier Reef, the Red Sea, and the western Pacific Ocean. They inhabit coral reefs and lagoons, where they can find shelter and access to their natural diet.
Diet:
Bicolor Angelfish feed on a varied diet that includes algae, plankton, and detritus. In captivity, it's essential to replicate this varied diet to ensure their health. Offering a mix of high-quality marine flakes, pellets, and fresh or frozen foods like brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and marine algae will help meet their nutritional needs.

Behavior:
While Bicolor Angelfish are generally peaceful, they can become territorial and aggressive toward other angelfish and similarly shaped species. It's best to introduce them to the aquarium last to minimize aggression. They can be kept in pairs or individually, but if kept in pairs, ensure that they are introduced simultaneously. An aquarium of at least 50 gallons (190 liters) is recommended to provide ample swimming space. Keep in mind that they can nip at corals and other invertebrates, so choose tankmates carefully.
