The Black & White Heinochus Butterflyfish may reside with other peaceful fish and others of the same species if introduced at he same time and of similar size.

The Black & White Heinochus Butterflyfish is not reef safe and prefers a diet of meaty foods like shrimp or krill and will eat some algae and herbivore foods.
